Paid the default but it is still on your credit file?
Paying a default does not always remove it. If the default was incorrectly listed, sent to the wrong address, recorded with the wrong amount, or missing required steps, it may still be worth challenging.
$399 flat per consumer, per default. We review the listing and the surrounding facts, prepare a structured dispute, lodge it with the credit provider and the credit reporting body, and track it through to an outcome. We do not guarantee removal — outcomes depend on the facts of each case — but a paid status does not validate a listing that was incorrectly recorded.
